6 p.m.: We met at the quartier 21 [E/G], where the Quintessenz [E/G] resides.
7 p.m.: After filling the car
with a lot of equipment,
Christian Mock [G] , telehans and I started on the way to the camp.

6:30 a.m.: After driving about 9 hours we reached the Paulshof [G] where the camp takes
place. The directional microwave radio link is set up and wireless lan is already
working. Power is available, too.
During the day we had to resettle our tents (with the whole equipment, like the
refrigerator) three times.
10:15 a.m.: Thomas 'mike' Michlmayr , lisi (Brigitte Michlmayr) and Andreas Pommer arrived with their equipment (including this nice doormat. The people of Verein für Internet-Benutzer Österreichs [E/G] which are visiting the camp are complete now.
12:30 a.m.: Radio Subether [E]
has already set up their station and is sending.
1 p.m.: Thomas 'mike' Michlmayr and I got filmed and interviewed by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg [G].
The reportage should be sended today evening and should be available online at
their website a few days later. At the moment there is only a short reportage [G] online.
1:45 p.m.: We found a wasps nest nearby our tents.
2 p.m.: The multimedia guys are installing equipment like spotlights, projector and reflecting devices
like this ball to be used by
the Art & Beauty people.
6 p.m.: The shower are still
offline. The lovely lake [E] is refreshing, but there are a lot of plants
inside. (That's an implication of the heat during the last month.)
6:15 p.m.: I met Sven Guckes [E]. He seems to be one person who knows where his towel [E] is.
10 p.m.: Looks like the showers are working.

1 a.m.: The rest of the Chaosnahe Gruppe Wien [G] and the Quintessenz [E/G] crew
which are visiting the camp are ariving.
3 a.m.: After writing the first version of this web site (and staying up 45
hours without sleep) I decided to rest a little bit. See man poweroff.
8 a.m.: Just woke up. A small queue in front of the shower.
12 a.m.: I was visiting the opening event [E] where a huge crowd of visitors were listening
to Tim and Andy.
1 p.m.: Our interview is online at Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg [G] (Abendschau, about 2:30 minutes,
real player [E] needed).

9 a.m.: The Heart of gold
appeared.
9:45 a.m.: The marketplace is
nearly empty. It's too early for most of the visitors to stand up for
breakfast. And there is at least one person who don't know where his towel [E] is.
There are a few goodies like a NerdSchleuder, a table tennis table and field where some guys are
playing human GO. This seems
to be a social variant of the game GO [E]. I took a photo of the rules. The Sportenthusiasts of Lockpicking [E/G] have their own tent. At the wireless village [E] are warning signs because it seems that
they are running their own wireless network. And some people seem to use it.
10:30 a.m.: The people of the at.linux [G] newsgroup built a honeypot for wasps. And it
worked!
11 a.m.: Lego Mindstorms [E/G] is available at the hackcenter.
11:20 a.m.: A webcam operated
by the at.linux-people. But currently it's not online.
1 p.m.: The showers are now separated for men and women.
7:45 p.m.: The fire brigade is
bringing some cool-off.
8 p.m.: An airplane is flying
around. Yesterday there was a helicopter.
11:30 p.m.: It was very interesting to listen over two hours to John Gilmore.
11:45 p.m.: There are a lot of light installations around, including a laser show.

1:45 p.m.: The fire brigade
came again and provided some cool-off.
3 p.m.: Some guys are playing a strange game. It seems to be some kind of american football,
but it's not as brutal as the original.
3:15 p.m.: c-base [G] has some
projects like Pedaling for electricity. One of the member demonstrated that it works.
6 p.m.: This sticker on the
toilet shows that it might be possible that padeluun might be at the camp. An
italian debian [E/G] group is selling special
camp shirts.
6:45 p.m.: Is Apple [E] selling
electric plugs? The NOC is having fun. It's nice to see
that Garbage collection [E] is working.
7 p.m.: The documentation team
is working all the time.
8:30 p.m.: The plane was
flying again over the camp area. The documentation team told us that they are
part of their team.
9:15 p.m.: Some people from
the BlinkenArea.

11:15 p.m.: mike and I were testing the NerdSchleuder.
12:45 a.m.: It seems that a few persons collapsed because of the heat. At least
the signs and the offer of free water gave this
impression. A helicopter was
flying over the camp. It isn't part of the documentation team. So who is
interested in our activity?
1 p.m.: The workshop for building an helix antenna was held in the Fire Lounge.(More infos about antenna are available at http://www.antennenbauen.de/.)
5:15 p.m.: The camp closing event was mostly held by Tim. He introduced the owner of the (camping) ground (the
person with the yellow shirt).
6:15 p.m.: There was a wet t-shirt contest which included the other clothes. telehans was hit by the water. But
he had his revenge. Even Tim and Andy took part at this event.

8 a.m.: After a short breakfast we started to remove the tents.
10:45 a.m.: I saw Hugh Daniel and someone made a picture of us.
11:30 a.m.: That's my place
for the travel. Most of the garbage cans are full. But there is no trash on the ground.
2:45 p.m.: We got into a traffic jam which lasted one and quarter of an hour. A few hours later
(to be exact: half an hour after midnight) I arrived at home.
