Vienna inline marathon 2001

On the 23rd September 2001 the 3rd Vienna Inline Marathon [G] took place.

I started in the category speed. That means five rounds (with a distance of 7.9 km per round) and a total distance of 39.5 km. One round was:
Rathausplatz - Dr.-Karl-Lueger-Ring - Schottenring - Liechtensteinstraße - Alserbachstraße - Julius-Tandler-Platz - Alserbachstraße - Roßauer Lände - Franz-Josefs-Kai - Dominikanerbastei - Rosenbursenstraße - Stubenring - Parkring - Schubertring - Kärntnerring - Opernring - Burgring - Dr.-Karl-Renner-Ring - Dr.-Karl-Lueger-Ring - Rathausplatz
We skated the same route on the Friday Night Skating Vienna tour on September 21th, 2001 [E].

We started at half past two pm. It was raining during the whole race. That's a reason why my results from the inline marathon in 2000 [E] are better than the one from 2001.
