Vienna inline marathon 2000

The inline skater were split in different age-groups.

The fitness and the fun categories startet at 8 a.m. The speed skater, the wheel-chair athletes and the hand biker startet at 10 a.m. Additionally this groups were split in different starting blocks.

I started in the discipline speed men and got start number 537. My speed was higher than last year [G]. But I didn't reach my goals: A time under two hours and not to get lapped. The first one should not be a problem (and is one goal for next year), but the second one is difficult to reach because the fastest speed skater lapped us in the middle of the secound round.
